Learn Javascript – My First Javascript Program

I just started off like any other developer with basic knowledge about programming and logic. I made a quick Google search and found some cool editors to make it more fun and enjoyable while learning. Some of the best editors for JavaScript are:

  1. Atom — the one I love
  2. Notepad++
  3. Sublime Text
  4. JetBrains PhpStorm

However, you can also stick with other IDEs or editors like Dreamweaver. It’s up to your choice.

I installed Atom with some colourful packages in order to make it more charming, and to make coding easier as well as faster.

The first program I wrote is the typical programmer’s first touch with any language: Hello World!

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<body>
  <script>
    document.write("Hello World!");
  </script>
</body>
</html>

In my coming posts I’ll keep on discussing the primary setup and conditions for writing your first JavaScript code, facing real-life problems, even if you are a complete alien to this language.
